  1. Update: I’ve been riding and enjoying the bike (love it!), despite having no paperwork from the dealership to allow me to license or title it in Washington, and thereby risking a ticket for no license or proof of ownership. And never getting cowl, blanking plates, manual or tool set as I was promised. 4 months after purchase. 5 messages to sales guy, zero replies. Blasting them (sales, management) with angry messages this week to try and elicit a response. Might pay a lawyer to send them a letter. Someone in this chain gave a warning about Hillsborough, and they seem to be right. Darn. I’m a bit flummoxed on how to get it licensed, but am heading to my local license office for advice.
  2. Yep, that’s the place! They have a bike of mine on their wall, too. At least, the same as my bike: 1985 VF1000r. I still have mine in the garage.
  3. It’s a deluxe. 2 miles on the ticker, and a new bike warranty. They are still looking for the cowl, but I have mine from my old bike, just in case. The dealer thinks it’s the last new one in the US. I don’t know how to confirm that.
  4. Just WAY overpaid for a NEW 2015. I lost my (bought new) 2014 in a house fire 7 weeks ago. Insurance is paying, so I couldn’t resist buying one of the very few remaining dealer new Interceptors. Picking it up tomorrow. I’ll post pics!
  5. After riding a while today I've concluded that I'm leaving the dB killer in. Still sounds great, get the nice pop pop when decelerating, but not so loud as to attract unwanted attention
  6. I put the P1x db killer on it. Still sounds great, but I'm tempted to take it out and just let it growl.
  7. 600 mile service is next week. Prob have 700+ by the time I bring it in. TBR can sounds fantastic. Just a bit loud for polite company. Adding the P1x silencer tomorrow and adding pics too
  8. I'll post some pics tomorrow. It's my birthday, so I'm gonna ride with full volume a couple more days. I think the TBR carbon fiber can looks and sounds amazing!
  9. They won't, with the one I installed. Two Bros makes one that fits the panniers as an option
  10. New to this forum. Picked up a new 2014 VFR800 (red) a couple weeks ago. 600 miles since I picked it up. Comfy, but adding bar risers. Looks great with solo cowl. Tonight I installed 2 brothers S1R. Wow! Sounds amazing. Like a Ducati but way better as a v4! And shows the beautiful rear wheel better than the stock can. Just a little too loud for me in the long run. Adding the TBR P1X in a couple days and will update my thoughts.
