  1. A couple friends Jim aka Bizbat on his Vfr 1200 and my friend neighbor Jake on. Road King and I rode from Duvall to Winthrop and back last Saturday. It was nice and also hot I the afternoon; I hope you stopped on Diablo Dam!

  2. Derek, Tami and I got a ticket in Mt. Rainier Park a few years ago, its not like we were speeding or anything like that . . . well, not really speeding . . . really speeding is too fast for Tammy to take pictures from the back of Derek's VFR, so by that logic we could never speed, the kid looking Park cop didn't see it that way.

  3. What a great time. I'm riding with some friends from Duvall to Baker Oregon this summer for a ride and rally and we hope to make it to Nelson this year. I'll keep you posted Derek. I just had my bike repainted, I stayed with the flat black, looks great. Remember that was the color of yours before the tangerine. Love the color on yours.

  4. Where's the steam locomotive? Love that town. I took a video of the train steaming into town on the way home during the last Summit. Looks like you guys are having a good time. Nice and hot here in Duvall/Seattle area, looks warm enough there. Keep up the pictures and reports.

I remember that day well. I'm sure a certain guy on a Yamaha R-1 won't forget it either.

What say we all gather at Tony's house for the first MotoGP race of the season, big screen, theater room, nice ride, great hosts. Anybody want to inform Didit?

  5. I remember that tunnel. When Tony (Didit) told me he had a special thing set up for the ride by video I suspected he was going to have us all ride through this tunnel. It is not meant to be a road for vehicles, but hey, we're rebels, right?

  6. Good 'ole Diablo Dam, west end of the North Cascade Scenic Highway. Moochos pretty and great roads, rated No. 1 in Washington by Destination Highways guys, Brian Bosworth, and I agree. I is No. 1 in WA.

Great shots, my skoot's near the other end, flat black.

  7. The Bluebird in Bickleton, yet another of the "oldest bars" in Washington. The Brick in Rosyln claims fame as the oldest continuously running bar and scenes from Northern Exposure were filmed there. Has a brass trough running water under your feet at the bar.
