  1. I've done a very stupid thing with my 1999 VFR800 FiX. I was in the process of refitting the exhaust (had a minor slide earlier in the year due to a patch of black ice). Everything went well with the exception of my forgetting to nip the bolt up which holds the exhaust to the hanger. After a short ride out which resulted in ludicrous speed being engaged my exhaust was no longer attached to the hanger. I have temporarily fitted a bolt to the hanger for safety but would like to replace it with the same nut and bolt that it originally had. Would someone with a 1999 be so kind as to measure the bolt/take a quick photo of the nut so that I can purchase a more suitable replacement than I have currently fitted? I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance people. Luke.
  2. No mods that I'm aware of, I bought it a year ago. I'll take a look at the gaskets. I always run it on 97/98ron super unleaded, does this make any difference?
  3. My beloved 1999 yellow veefer has been in the garage over the winter, since getting it out I've noticed that it is backfiring rather loudly when I hit the brakes or use engine braking when going down-hill. Could this be a clogged injector? I was thinking of running a bit of redex or something through it, I've never used the stuff before but then I've never owned a bike with fuel injection before either. Any advice?
  4. I think you may be right as I did get 3 of one, 2 of another and one of another. Getting sick of their useless customer support, can anyone recommend a good place to buy them from quickly and reliably in the UK? I'm going to send these back for refund as for allI know I could have seals for a sherman tank based upon their reluctance to admit what they advertised compared to what they sent out.
  5. I recently ordered a full set of brake seals from M&P via fleabay, when they landed I was greeted with 6 seals and 6 dust seals, as far as I'm aware there are 9 pistons in total, does anyone have any idea what part numbers I should've received as my complaint about not getting enough parts has led them to ask me which part numbers I need. Not being a bike parts supplier (like M&P it seems) I am not sure, much googling has turned up nothing. I want to fit my new goodridge hoses but it would make sense to do the seals at the same time...
