Thanks Brian!! wish I could ride next year with you guys, but duty calls. I will be across the pond most of the year. I wanted to get the juices flowing before I left, when I get back im buying a track bike, getting a little to competitive on the Blue Whale, don't want to ball it up, and lose the whole thing.

Beautiful images. Thank you. Love the SR 6 images. Nevada is a great place to ride, but not a lot do. West Central Nevada is very scenic, the Hwy 50 corridor is amazing.

It's a Kagayama...

The people that say that type of thing are unable to manage their own expectations of what the bike is for. It's not a track bike, but it does the job, it's fun, fast, predictable and stable. It makes the ride that much better.

Red Rock and Valley of Fire are both very similiar, but about 80 miles apart. VOF is about 65 miles east of Vegas on I-15, and Red Rock is about 20 miles west of Vegas on Highway 160. Park Entrance fee for both places. Red Rock is a Scenic Route with speed limits at 35. Valley of Fire is also a Scenic Area, but it opens up to the North Shore road back to Vegas. Its newly re-paved, about 60 miles of fast sweepers, and real nice on the scenery. The VFR loves the moderate paced sweepers. On this trip i got stopped in Overton by a Policeman that asked what kind a bike it was, we talked for a bit, he complemented the bike and I was off.

Z2 Trackdays out of Reno, they were very lenient for the Novice group, which I was in...I pulled both the tail light and head light fuses, but it turned off all dash function's including TACH/Idiot lights and fuel. Tape took about 5 minutes...great group to go out with. I will be in the B Group next with a dedicated track bike after I get back from my trip to the desert.
