I have a set of brand new pistons made by JE, short skirt, with anti friction coating that were made for a 94 VFR750 to bring the displacement to 836. I was getting ready to do exactly what you are doing and the engine builder I was using over bored right through the cylinder sleeve into the aluminum of the engine. Engine ruined!
