  1. Ambitious! Mt. Evans was slower going, the pavement surface was nowhere near as confidence-inspiring. But still pretty special to be up that high.

edit: I forgot to add, I think the route you described is the one we ended up taking, I'm trying my hardest to remember! It's all a blur.

I'll be honest, never thought this was a feature photo when I originally uploaded it. Drifting a Mustang sideways across a curb wasn't my proudest moment. Glad to represent the NACA's, though. :)

  2. Thanks for the feature and comments! The blue is GM Quasar Metallic, rattle can. And you can't see it, but there's a Ford Oxford White stripe down the middle.

The shutter speed was 13 seconds, if I recall correctly, but I'd have to check. It's good from afar, but far from good. ;)

  3. All the way from Saskatoon! Well we have room on the front page for a gopher ranching stubble jumping combine pilot! Featured.

Thanks for the feature, Veefer! I appreciate the fame and fortune that have befallen me as a result.

Cool pick, though those 'bars look a teensy bit low for my aging back.

And Lorne, they're the stock VFR bars at the stock height, so it's actually still very comfortable!
