  1. You use any front brake?

I asked him about that Sunday when you guys were gearing up to leave. Even thought it might be a different brake pad compound between front and rear.

Says he has the same brake pads front and rear but all I see is clean front wheel and brake dusty rear...

I wonder if it is the oil he uses. :laughing6-hehe:

I really do NOT know why the rear wheel always gets dirtier then the front. I do use the front brakes a lot. I am NO Brian or Doug, but I do carry some speed and use the front brakes 90% of the time. (I am still learning to ride). I guess I need to do some track days.

I will look more into it.

  2. Is that a fourth gen with a 3rd gen rear wheel, CBR600 bodywork in the front, and a 6th gen subframe and tail body work? Nice paint job and bike! Is there a thread for this build?

Thanks, and Veefer800Cancuk is correct and he did add the link to build.

I used 8 different Honda bikes for this build.

3rd gen VFR, 4th gen VFR, 5th gen VFR, 6th Gen VFR, CBR 929, CBR F4i, CBR 600RR, and CBR 1000RR

any questions, just PM me. It was a blast to build.

  3. Beautiful upkeep! I think that is a great looking bike, but then I am prejudiced as I think the 4th gen was the most recognizable VFR model and IMHO the best looking. Oh, and I own one.......

Thank you very much. It has been a GREAT bike and loved the look and the sound! BUT....... it does not look the same anymore. I had to rebuild do to crash. It was cheaper to just build it this way.My FV750 build

this is it now. (sorry the pictures stink)gallery_15375_4320_119497.jpg

    4th gens rock! :excl:

  4. We made the mistake of taking 82 up and over the pass, and on the way to Aspen we hit about 6 miles of chip & seal roads (more chips than seal at least 1inch deep).

We had a great time and hit some good roads all together. We seen more cows and deer on the road on our 320 mile loop than sport bikes (4).
