  1. Great video as usual. Man, I hadn't heard that 2nd song in YEARS! I think I had it on some compilation album 10-15 years ago. Anyhow, I'm jealous everyday of the great roads and scenery that you get to enjoy in Colorado.

    Very cool video HS.

Todd, I don't know what you're talking about. Vegas is such an awesome place to ride, especially now that it's in the low 100's everynight, and high 140's in the day, you've got Death Valley nearby, that's really pretty this time of year. Then of course there's Big Bear just a quick jaunt to the south. and Angeles Crest just a smidgen to the west, you are surrounded by excellant roads...

you know, when I was a kid we had to ride our bikes to school each day in 3 feet of snow. uphill. both ways...

  2. I was on my first bike, a 81 Yamaha Seca 650, and it had just poured for about an hour straight. Sun comes out, helmet goes on, off I go. As I get to the local 'hang-out' I kinda squint, I know the driveway is here somewhere... under 6 inches of running water... I'm pretty sure it's right here... gurgle gurgle splash splash hiss hiss. kind of a funny noise the exhaust makes when completely submerged under water. First thought was to look up, see if anyone saw me. I had tried to go into the 'driveway' at a 45 degree angle, only to have my front tire slide across the curb and drop me down. FULLY SOAKED. Next best thing, I pick up the bike, move it up to the sidewalk, and start walking over to my 'friends', who seem to spread out into thin air... So, alone and SOAKED, I decided to grab a quick smoke and head home. Then I reach for my pocket and pull out a SOAKED cigarette... and with 80 laughing eyes, tried really hard to light it with my FULLY SOAKED lighter...
