  1. Well it seems like a bulk order wouldn't do us much good, unless it was some serious bulk. Shipping goes up at the same rate with the order. Maybe if we were able to order a shipping container full
  2. Got an email back today. For the chin fairing and the full side kit it was 75 € shipping to Texas. I'm waiting to hear back on rates for a bigger order. Maybe we can put an order together if we can save on shipping.
  3. I was browsing Ebay for some spare 3rd Gen. parts today and came across this company. The prices look pretty good and it says he'll ship to the US. Has anyone heard of him? I wonder how the fiberglass is compared to our brittle plastic? I have a message in to him to see what shipping would be to the US. http://stores.ebay.com/Lineamoto/VFR-750-/_i.html?_fsub=7255055015

    Cruise Control

Can you post a picture of how you have your cruise control throttle cable mounted to the throttle cam?
  5. Well that's about as detailed as you can ask for. Do you know off the top of your head the size for the bolt or screw that holds it on? If not I'll just run down to the hardware store and try them out.
  6. Went to remove my seat the other day and the parts of the latch ended up falling all over the inside of my scooter. Can anyone post a picture of how it all goes together? Anyone know how many bits there are? I have 3 and I can't find the screw that holds it all together.
  7. It's time for some new tires. Took the VFR in for my inspection and both are below the minimum tread. I don't have any tire tools but I think I can get the tires off and on, I just don't have any way to balance them. Local shop was the cheapest at $85 PER tire to mount and balance. At that rate I'll buy my own MP balancer but I thought I'd check on here first. I'm happy to bring some of your favorite beverage with me. Thanks
  8. I've had the bike a while and this can has been on it the whole time. This is the first year I've noticed it. It has also been a few years since I de-paired it so I don't think that's it either, unfortunately.
  9. 93, de-paired, 30k miles. Bike runs okay. It's run better in the past. When I'm riding I can feel little bursts of power when I'm at constant speed. This popping was happening extra bad today so I thought I'd video what's going on. It sat for about a month this winter and was very grumpy when idling cold. That's better now that the weather has warmed up. Doesn't seem to bog down any when revving. Does this sound like a carb or valve issue?

    Cruise Control

Old post, but maybe they're still around. How did y'all mount the control unit? Mine is all installed except I can't find a good place for it. Navy, can you describe a little how you mounted your cable to the body? Did the center of your throttle cam already have the threaded area for that nut of did you put something on there? That looks much better than mine. Thanks
  11. I put about 100 miles on it today with no issues. When I was sitting at idle the temp. gauge would come up to the midpoint and I could hear the fans kick on. When I was riding the gauge was slightly lower than that. It was pretty cool when I was riding this morning and I still have the oil cooler blocked. I wasn't pushing it too hard. So as far as I can tell, the temp. issue worked out with >30* weather and a properly running bike.
  12. Age. The hose just slipped off the nipple on the carb when I touched it. Shortly after finding the pinhole, the hose basically fell apart. I had to cut back a few more because they are all starting to crack. I don't know the history of the hoses so I'm going to assume 19 year old hoses. I need to re-rubber it.
  13. Found it today. Effing vacuum leak from the front right carb. It was a pinhole in the hose so I couldn't see it all the time. I tried finding the vacuum hose for the back two carbs but I couldn't see it. Can someone point me in that direction. I'm due for some new rubber in a few places.
