  1. As a fellow short person I lowered my 03 a couple inches to be more comfortable. I drug hard parts everywhere and was generally miserable riding the bike in any kind of rough twisty roads. Now that I have raised the bike back to stock height I can ride much more comfortably, but feet down situations suck. If you plan to ride the bike sporty at all you may want to go down in small increments and no where near 3 inches as the header, hard bags, lower fairing, and side stand will all be on the ground at minimal lean angles. It is amazing what a few inches of height lost can change in lean angle lost. Just something to think about.
