That was easily the 4th time I had flashed it. Every other time it didn't seem to complete right, but would add in a recovery step and it *looked* correct. This time it went through start to finish no issues. Whew.
Yeah looks like the firmware update process is a little dodgy still. I guess the PCV is still only about a year old and Dynojet haven't got their code running clean enough yet. Which isn't really acceptable, but it is what it is.
I had to flash mine three times. It would be nice if the firmware loader popped a message that said sucess / failure or even what the current revision is of the PCV.

I have a white without the ABS. I have no fender, black techgrip sharkskin tank pads. Think the black on white looks better than the red.

Hi,
I own a Vtec 2002 and want to use a CBR929 fork (330mm)
Is it possible to use CBR929 brake-discs and Blackbird calipers together with the original wheel ?
Or should I have a CBR929 wheel alike also ? and how about the calipers
Or what is the best solution for this combination
Well just figured out that I need the cbr929 front wheel, so there's only one question left now;
Does a vfr caliper fits on the cbr929 fork?
No. The VFR have a different mounting scheme, so it wouldn't be a bolt on game. One benefit of these swaps is getting better braking performance. Are you trying to keep the linked brakes or ABS? Perhps getting your current forks reworked or going full out and getting AK-20 cartridges.

So, just out of curiosity, what is the next step? Bigger radiators? thermo switch that turns the fan on sooner? Addition of a second fan on the right radiator? or a manual fan on/off switch?
Enquiring minds want to know....
PS my new fan is on order, should arrive late this week.
I went to my dealer to order the SH fan and they say they are on back order. Meaning no way can they tell when I would get one if I ordered.
Just curiuos - how many of us jumped out and ordered one? New demand - new shortage?
MD
Order one after I hit 249 on a run a few weeks ago. Also burped the system which seems to have helped a lot. Still hitting over 230 very often.

I have been riding with mine now for about 1000 very spirited miles. I see a mixture of - and + trims but haven't really analyzed it in great detail yet. I do have to say that the throttle response is transformed. I don't feel any surging at this point either. Very impressed to date.
