Member Contributer RED RUNNER 14 Posted August 12, 2006 Very cool photos. Zion must have been something else. I was hoping to swing through monument valley this summer; didn't happen. Any thunderstorms? Quote Link to comment
Member Contributer achfly 1 Posted March 7, 2007 JUST IN case I didn't say it before.... that sign was a big piece of my child hood. I grew up about 20 miles west of Zion and my family had a bit of property about 10 miles NE of Zion. That sign was what we would see just after sunset about every Saturday... headed home (west) after building fence or makin' dutch oven potatos or some such. I know that road very well, but I'd be nervous to take it at much of a pace on two wheels. Its very technical and you've got rock walls, sheer drop offs, deer and amazingly stupid tourists. Other than that its much fun! Quote Link to comment
Member Contributer quicknick 0 Posted March 7, 2007 I think that it's my favorite national park so far that I've visited on two wheels or four. Fantastic scenery and cool roads. Quote Link to comment
