Member Contributer BusyLittleShop 630 Posted February 26, 2005 What is it??? well you can always say it's Spagthorpe's newest model... you know engineered by the famous Wendell Gunderson-Ogelthorpe... http://www.spagthorpe.com/ Quote Link to comment
Guest cosmicbandito Posted March 1, 2005 well i'd prefer riding something that unique everyday than worrying about the latest graphics and cleaning products! lol i'm from the old brit school of build it like the apocalypse is happening tomorrow and spray it matte black.... and as for the bad wrench day....the reason i've hated hondas since '88 is the oil fliter housing on the cb900fa i had sort of chopped my left thumb off when a 'mate' dropped the damn engine on it after the second camchain in 20 miles had bent all 16 valves. to say i was not happy was an understatement...then they sewed the damn thing back on at a funny angle to remind me how hondas bite the hand that mends them! lmao so i have lots of bad wrench days but how many folk do you know who move continents when arthritis sets in to carry on riding every day? plus the only honda i've owned with a personality was a 1976 ss50 with rubber bar mounts and pedals....lol Quote Link to comment
Guest Hurricane249 Posted March 2, 2005 It kind of has a BMWish look to it. What's up with the Mt Dew can? Quote Link to comment
Guest cosmicbandito Posted March 2, 2005 the mountain dew can is substituting for my trademark "beamish irish stout" can which i use as a lightweight reservoir catch can for the water cooling vent. every streetfighter i've built has ended up with one somewhere on the bike either as an oil tank disguise, cover for air horn compressors or an overflow of some description. i'm not sure the bmw reference is an insult to hondas, bm's or the style i've ended up with! lmao hell, all i know is i have a wife who's 5 months pregnant with our first son and is now looking for a scrap tank with "ball-markings" from some poor boy racers late braking manuover so's she can at least ride it around the block before she get's any larger...and boy is she a happy wee lassie with what's evolving...shame she wants a snow leopard paint job on it now! :-) Quote Link to comment
