Boole Tree Parking lot

nozzle

Radiator was dripping when we got back from the hike. We ended up draining the system into a ziplock bag. Removing the radiator to discover the cooling fan cowl rubbed throughout the fins. Bent the bracket to hold it off, then used super glue pinched with pliers to hold the fins together. Pressure tested with windex and blowing into the radiator with the other side blocked. Windex bubbles meant more glue and pinching. The repair was made Sat. afternoon and held until we got to San Franscico's Golden Gate Cycle - which I see is closing it's doors. http://www.goldengatecycles.com/ - on Tuesday. Super glue did more than duct tape could on this one. Filled the system and topped off with water.

I sure is discomforting to have issues like this out of cell coverage. Quickly realized how reliant I am on my phone at times.
