Member Contributer elevation 1 Posted May 21, 2009 Rode my F4i on the salt flats in late May of 2007. There was so much salt caked into the bike I am sure their is still some in there. No amount of washing would get it all out. Couldn't do speed runs on the salt flats then, it was too soupy. It was very mushy that time of year. Quote Link to comment

Jack Yep, the old hundred mile per hour tape, kept the mirrors from blowing back, which they seemed to do after 1ooo miles of bumpy interstate getting there. Got a GPS confirmed 130mph, cables stretched tight. Might have been the drag from the saddlebags slowing things down a little. Quote Link to comment
