As requested. ?HS, please move to How To Forum - I don't have access.

First, install the BackOFF LED license plate bracket on the back of the bike. ?File a groove in the bottom edge of the license plate itself so it doesn't cut the wires on the bracket.

Second, run the wires through the same holes used for the wires from the little stock light that illuminates the license plate. ?Run the wires up and under the passenger seat. ?This is where you access the brake light wires, which you'll need. ?It will take a couple of attempts to get the wires threaded up through the holes, but you can do it.

Third, the three wires you just ran up into the back of the bike from the LED license plate bracket are red, black, and white. ?The red wire is the brake light, black is ground, and white is the running light. ?You'll see a connector with three wires, which fits into a socket to the upper-most rear brake light on the bike. ?The top wire in the connector is green and yellow and it is the hot brake light. ?The middle wire is brown and blue and this is the running light. ?The green wire is the ground. ?Pull the connector out carefully. ?Make sure you have a good 1/2" of wire exposed on the white wire from the LED. ?Slide the white LED wire into the connector where the brown and blue wire resides (i.e., the middle position). ?It will be a tight fit but it works and you won't have to cut and splice wires.

Fourth, take the red wire from the Radiantz brake strobe module and slide it into the connector where the green and yellow wire resides (top position). ?Now, use a zip-tie and secure the newly installed wires (i.e., red and white) to the green, green and yellow, and brown and blue wires. ?This will prevent them from slipping out of the connector. ?Reconnect the connector.

Fifth, connect the white wire from the Radiantz brake strobe module to the red wire of the BackOFF led license plate bracket. ?Use a wire nut.

Sixth, connect the black wire from the Radiantz brake strobe module to the black wire of the BackOFF led license plate bracket. ?These are the grounds. ?Loosen the screw that holds the seat lock in place and ground the black wires to the screw. ?Retighten the screw.

Seventh, get some double-sided tape and stick the Radiantz brake strobe module under the rear fairing inside the space beneath the seat. ?It has four little white switches that can be used to set different lighting scenarios, so you'll want access to it.

Eight, test it out and you should be done.

I'm not liable for any misinformation or mistakes made in posting these directions. ?Always refer to the instructions provided and use a voltmeter if not sure. ?This installtion was done on my '04 VTEC.

I've attached a picture of my final installation.

Jim
