Fuel Leak - Breather

Hi guys - so the bike is running, but I've had a small fuel leak from the breather hose (not overflow).

 

I have re-routed the breather just 10 minutes ago, as I didn't do this properly the first time and the hose was probably compressed.

 

I don't understand why it would leak a little bit if the tank perhaps couldn't breath properly, so I'm unsure if this will sort it out or not.

 

FI, there's only about 2.5 litres of fuel in the tank, which gives me confidence that it's not the overflow, and I have checked that the fuel is emanating from the narrow union on the underside of the tank.
