Guest Acemon
I searched here, as well as around the 'net and didn't find a good answer. I have an '86 VF500F and it seems to have an oil link at the countershaft seal. Behind the seal is a bearing. I looked thru my Honda service manual and it appears I might be able to replace the seal itself without having to remove the engine and split the case. Amazingly, the seal is still available. Has anyone actually done that? If the engine has to be removed, I'll make a little aluminum shield instead to keep the oil from dripping on the muffler. Thanks (for your amusement, below is my VF700 Recumbent project)
