Harhond60
While stopped in a cambered gravel corner and suddenly unable to keep my '04 vfr upright, the girl slowly laid down onto the pavement with me straining to hold her up and screaming "noooooooooo" into my Shoei. Left side hard bag scratched, left side fairing scratched and the upper left leading edge of the fairing took the majority of the hit with a nasty thru the red to black rash. Question: since I'm not skilled in plastic repair and hoping not to have to replace, what are some options? Can a good b&f shop handle this or do I need specialist? Member Contributer dgordon Posted July 27, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted July 27, 2014 Har, depends on how picky you are. You can definitely get a really close match with a good plastic and paint surgeon. Close, but not perfect. I would check with all of the local shops in your area, and inquire and see who they recommend for this. A Dealer can put you in line with a really good artisan. If they are busy, things happen in the shop. Check around in your area and you will start to find answers. And the cost is way less than replacement tupperware. It just won't be a perfect match, if that matters. Best to you in your search. Dave.
