Guest Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Don't know anything about RadarHawk detectors, but I can't imagine skimping on this piece of gear given the potential consequences of poor performance. I have a Beltronics SDI Driver -- works great, can't be detected in states that outlaw detectors; and it's saved me countless $$ and hassle. Guest Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Firstly I will not drive even to the corner store without my radar detector on. I use the Whistler Crusader, it is the best I've seen. Purpose built for the motorcycle. Plus it comes with the helmet mounted LED indicator, which makes the system the most complete on the market. It has saved me countless tickets.The only negative thing is that when I'm riding with friends I'm always up front, to pickup up Johnny Law. If they are going to get someone it wont be me.
