Member Contributer coopduc Posted June 3, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted June 3, 2008 Has anyone tried this on a 6th gen? Not the cheapest, but looks nice and small for a tidy installation and needs no vacuum can. http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...mp;autoview=sku
Guest
Has anyone tried this on a 6th gen? Not the cheapest, but looks nice and small for a tidy installation and needs no vacuum can.http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.as...mp;autoview=sku I installed electronic cruise control on my 6th gen this spring and I love it. I went with a system called MC Cruise out of Australia. It definitely wasn't cheap, but on my last trip (1850 km over 3 days) it was worth every penny. The unit is custom designed for the VFR and was totally plug and play with no wire splicing etc. Hope that helps.
Member Contributer rbertalotto Posted June 15, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted June 15, 2008 I installed that Rostra Global Cruise on my DL650 V Strom. My last V Strom had the vacuum unit and this electronic version is MUCH smoother in operation. Same install proceedure, but no need to mess with vacuum.
