Guest NewbieBiker
I have a 1986 VF500f and I'm wondering if the cowl and lower spoiler can be replaced with the cowl/fairing/lower spoiler setup from a 1986 VFR700F. Any info would be great. If this is not an option then what is the best way to build a set of fairings for the bike?

Airtech makes an upper and chin fairing for the 500: http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/VF5001983-86.htm They also make a full fairing for it, but IMHO it ruins the look of the bike. I haven't bought anything from them, so I have no idea about the quality of their product.

You might want to ask these folks: http://www.chromasiam.com/vf500f/ Also, it looks as though this guy is "really into it." Might be some help here: http://www.daughertymotorsports.com/ This too: http://www.spec2.com/fairings.html
