2003 Honda VFR800 Interceptor, silver, w/Givi bags, Erion pipes, non-ABS: $4,000. Adult-owned, garaged, and in great condition with many extras. Has about 12,800 miles, runs smooth, includes lowered footpegs, GenMar handlebar risers, Sargent seat, Erion Racing exhaust, tinted windscreen. Lockable, color-matched 1-key Givi hard bags, new Dunlop Q3+ tires available with sale, and more. Everything works. Stock seat, footpegs, windscreen, extra front fairing included. A few scuffs on the lower fairings but still looks and operates great. I've owned the VFR since 2017 and am moving to a Honda Valkyrie Interstate which is like a big brother to this VFR w/matching bags. Central Maryland area. Cross posted. 4047883757.

Hi all. Haven't been on for a while. As some of you may remember, I had to part company with my white G7 last year due to financial commitments. Well, back in August, things sorted themselves out. I saw a nice cbf1000 at a dealership that I was quite interested in and what just happened to be parked up next to it.... This little 2010 beauty. I've mad a few mods to her since I've had her and, again due to money, it's taking a bit of time but the last bit to go on is some new indicator bulb's. They're clear glass bulbs so you don't see a big blob of orange through the indicator lens. Hopefully they'll arrive this week. Once they're in I'll take some more photos to show you all my sexy girl as she is now

No, sorry it's not a electric / IC engine hybrid VFR that I am referring too (sorry but electric bikes just aren't my thing)... I am talking about mating the glorious sound of the 5th gen's GDC V-four to the more modern looking subframe/ tail section of the 6th gen. How am I passing the time this winter? I bought a low mile (about 7k) Y2K VFR 800 in October and began collecting parts to swap out the subframe to a 6th gen complete with undertail exhaust. My Honda bags from my '07 RWB will also be seeing some time on this bike as well. I can't recall the previous VFRD member that had done this originally, but after seeing how fantastic his bike turned out I was inspired to build my own. Here she is as I bought her in October. The bike was in great shape, with a V&H slip on and top box. I sold the top box off and am also selling the slip on exhaust as well. Here are some pics of the bike that I was inspired from. (sorry I couldnt figure out how to post pics and then add text, and then type some more... ) And here is my progress so far - new 6th gen subframe attached -Staintune exhausts mounted Next step is to relocate the rectifier and install the LED tail light on its way from Germany. I will also be de-linking the front brakes, using Superhawk front forks and 6 piston calipers from a GSXR 1000. The rear shock will be swapped with JD CBR 929 unit, the turn signals will be "de-dumbo'd", the screen replaced with an MRA dark smoke double bubble, Braking brake rotors, a CBR 900RR master cylinder, LED front bulbs for the headlights, and the Shinkos will be replaced with some Pirelli Angel GTs.

Hi all, I was unlucky enough that a stanley blade went through my, almost-new, back tyre a few days back on the road. I know because I found the blade in the tyre when I removed the tyre from the rim haha! I could barely believe it myself. Anyway now that I am waiting on new tyres I took a good look at my rims and think that they could really do with a paint. It's been in the back of my mind for a while now anyway. That begs the question, do I stay standard and paint them black again? Do I go with silver to match the frame? Do I go with a pale shade of gold to match the brake calipers? At this point in time the pale gold sounds appealing. Seeing as I'll be doing the work myself, I'd be happy enough to try it, see how it looks and then get it done professionally whenever I could save some money for that. The thing is, I've no idea what colour-code/name etc the front brake calipers are. I've a feeling they might close to Ford Champagne Gold which I can get hold of easily here. Any ideas? Indeed any pics of gold or silver wheels and tips on the job would be great. Thanks :)
