I called up the dealer here in St Albert (Canada) and was told the same thing. They have to look/examine the bike before they can order the wiring harness. So I brought it in Feb 28th. Hopefully won't take long to get back. good thing is that there's still snow/dirt on road. Only thing that has me a little worried is that my bike will be the guinnie pig.
Well my dealer called me on Friday(March 21) to say my bike was ready after having BOTH Harnesses replaced. I picked it up on Saturday (March 22), took off from the dealership and noticed that my ABS Light was staying on. So turned around and headed back to the Dealership. Now my bike sits in the shop until Tuesday untill they open again (easter Holidays) before it can get diagnosed as to what's wrong. Just glad it's still kinda winter here.
Picked up the bike today and everything is good. Problem was the ABS connection. Apparently didn't push in the connector far enough to make contact (So I'm told). All in All happy with my dealer and time frame.
P.S. Honda Canada is going to reimburse me the $450.00 it cost me last year to fix the Burn't/Melted 30 Amp wire fix I had the dealer do before the recall was issued.

I took my bike into the dealership to have the melted 30 Amp fuse done. What they did was add 2-12g wires instead of adding 1 thicker wire (as posted here), and replaced the stator. Now my readings from my voltmeter are:(not sure what they were before, as I just added the voltmeter)
Bike at Idle = 13.2 volts
Bike while driving = 15.2 Volts
Is this too high?

Where are you guys running the wires from your accessories (front of bike) to the fuseblock (under seat). Are you running them along the Left side of the bike, or running them under the fuel tank. I need to run 6 wires (3 pairs) to the back. GPS, Powerlet Plug, and Voltmeter.

Congrats on what seems to be an awesome product and installation. I'm completely impressed with the machining and the thought that went into the design.
I would ride my '04 to Saskatoon and pay for a full install if that is ever a service that Radar offers.

Zub, I'm also from Edmonton. Would definately ride my 02 to Saskatoon too to get them installed as well.
Well now, that makes 3 in Edmonton - I was talking to Travis this weekend and he's up for the install as well. It'd be great to ride out with company! Now, off to look at that coolant bottle!
And we have all 6th Gens as well. We should be experts at the end of it all. BTW...I'm ok with letting you guys do the install/cuttings on your bikes first, before we get to mine.....LOL

What's it like getting on and off the bike with the Topcase on. I definitely like the look better than the topbox sticking way up and out like the oem one does.

Sorry, I didn't see the pics with the racks removed, I just saw the BIG Square brackets and assumed hat they had to be left on all the time or require tools to remove them if you didn't want them showing.

Excellent job on the writeup! Personally I prefer the look of the Honda Bags. They seem to contour the bike better without looking like the are just stuck on. Also too with the bags off the Honda brackets are less noticable. Does not takeaway the look of the bike like these brackets do. Mind you I did pay $1,400.00 for the bags.

I also forgot to mention that before the wiring harness was replace, my bike voltage was at 15.3 Volts while riding! Now it sits at 14.0 Volts.
