Absolute proof.... The 'RED' ones are faster, even in the snow.
That's ihilker (Isaac) with his arms spread out, and Kr0nus on the Yellow VFR, I'm taking the picture. This photo was taken Mar. 12, 2006 in San Diego, CA.
We don't usually get snow like this in our local mountains.

I'm not too fond of the look. Too busy. I prefer clean, smooth lines.
