After my bike was knocked over in a car park, the arm holding the slider was bent to the point that it had nearly gone through the fairing …the bolts had stretched which was better than having them pull out and strip the thread as the bolts replace the original subframe fixing bolts

I got a set of DSG sliders from THURN motorsport from Gerhard in Germany and they’ve been tested in the same situation and they didn’t move, not cheap but worth it …. they’re also no cut, the bracket slots through the groove in the panel

I am thinking of getting the no cut frame sliders from Thurn as well.  Do you have any complaints after having them for a while?  Thanks

Good to hear about the T-Rex sliders. Just installed a pair on my 2002 VFR800 today.  Had to relearn the hard way when I first got it to never trust the side stand. Seems that both bolts holding it on were almost completely backed out.  Got some scratches on the upper cowl and clutch lever. Never again.

Tracked down a NIB upper cowl in the right color (don't ask what that cost!), but the scratches are minor enough that I never replaced it.  Will get around to a touch up someday.

Any feedback on the trex sliders so far?  Thanks

Also just wanted to note that those T-Rex sliders are a godsend cannot recommend them enough!

Have you had any issues hitting your shins on them whilst getting on the bike?  I have seen reviews of people complaining about this.  5'11 is my height. I found some no drill frame sliders from Thurn in Germany but they are a lot more that these. Thanks.

Got some on order, will post when fitted.

How are these working? I see reviews of people banging their shins into them whilst getting on their bikes.  Any feed back? thanks.
