Slammer....actually this road is is through a small town at Forks of the Salmon. We had to take this road as the main Hwy was closed due to a fire. This photo does not show the wild horses, cattle, LOTS of gravel and HUGE drop offs.

God I have been gone from here too long. Thanks for the comments. I think the decal came from Ebay

If you cropped this photo a little tighter on the right it would be an award winning photo for sure.

this years meet is in Newport Oregon this weekend. The photos above are from 2005 when Snowgirl and I hosted it here in Eureka.

you know your really have to watch what you say around this forum buddy. The non Honda piece of crap you are referring to happens to be Snowgirls first bike. Her bike now is the red one parked next to it.
The other non Honda piece of crap you refer to belongs to Fred, who is a friend of the guy whose album this is in and has been to two meets now and is a hell of a guy.
Oh by the way, you say you have a Suzuki in your garage!! Whats up with that piece of crap?

Hwy 36 in the turn where BLS laid it down...see the marks?

Why no VFR logo on the left side of the bike? Love the yellow too. I hope to have my own by the weekend to keep my red one from being lonely.

that is like the snow pack we get here in Northern Calif. in Lassen Park. It is not untypical to have 30ft. of snow on the sides of the road. It takes the park 3-4 months to get the road open. This year they would get a section plowed then it would snow a couple of feet again. We skied in the backcountry this year until the fourth of July weekend. Still plenty of snow now, but its getting sun cupped.
