  1. Great photos, it's good to see the close-up stuff that shows what the builder actually did. A few things I noted:

    - the steering lock stops look to be well done

    but quite restricted

    - the subframe that holds the headlights is interesting! looks like a factory item

    i think its home made

    - centrestand frame tangs have been cut off to give more room for the exhaust (a mod I am about to do myself so great to see)

    - solid front brake rotors (unusual)

pfm rotors, great stoppers! modified to suit the VTR wheels

    - cable tie on fork leg shows that previous owner knew a bit about suspension set-up

    - rear coils mounted to frame where rear panels are normally bolted up - good spot for them

    - twin lines to front right caliper?

    no, 2 into 1

    - exhaust headers - I can't quite work out how they are set up but looks like 4-2-2, with front bank and rear bank paired?

    hi,

overall work very professional (not me)

But I am selling the bike (see classified)

due to concentrating on track days, no time to ride the beauty

    cheers

  2. thanks Sebspeed. No I have no idea about the springs. only info I have of the bike is what the builder gave us in the beginning of this topic.

will look into this when more time

pictures of his rear seat/battery location. all very neat

front end with VTR wheels and PVM discs

headlamp bracket. custom made and he used same color for all brackets on bike ( exhaust hangers, engine cases etc)

exhaust and rear end (home made bracket and I think a non Honda caliper?

side picture (hoping to change the ugly water hose and custom made exhaust

not much change, except I raised the rear by approx. 30mm . Changed the linkage plates. hope this will help the handling.

always found the seat height very low, my feet were flat on the ground and knees bend. now it feels better. re-adjusted the front forks as well.

test ride tomorrow and hope fully I can do the promised sound track over the bank holiday!

    cheers

  4. never did a sound clip, so bear with me, I will try one. Its pretty noisy, but a very different sound than my 93 VFR with the Twobros system!

only rode the bike only twice due to the bad weather conditions (floods) here in SW England lately. Brakes are great, but a bit unsure about the handling. Needs some adjusting or it might be me. I have a Sv650 trackbike and a Ducati ST4s too and they are great handling bikes.

the details are amazing, it was a real craftsman that built this bike. will make some close up pictures if you're interested

    cheers

Bike is back, but different owner.

Feels like cheating by posting the bike here,(since I didn'tpost-23976-0-84584800-1391549053.jpg built it) but thought maybe people are still interested in it.

    cheers,

    Peter

ps also a picture of my own special still in progress
