In my case the mirror glass also broke, so I was stuck. Otherwise I would have used this, or a similar, method.
Oh, c'mon. There is always an easy and quick fix;

Hello to at it has been a while since I was on here last. My son Kane Ryley Sauer was born 2 weeks ago and with buying a house in NC and moving from SC and checking into a new unit, as well as a little one I have been really busy. Well things are now slowly starting to calm down and I was able to take a good look at the VFR and here is my newest MOD if that is what you want to call it!
Congrats on the baby :fing02: But I have to tell you, your idea of baby transportation has same flaws. The baby is not secured and if you close the bag then he could be suffocated. :fing02:
Let me show you how it is done properly with a real child seat. Please note the beautiful engineering that I put into this project. The child could be strapped down properly and there is now way the child could be suffocated with this professional solution.

Would it work for any generation of VFR? :idea3:
-
Holy cow! That is an awesome, well detailed write up! Pin it!

I'm just sad I dont have enough time to do the same to my VFR. Its sitting there soooo neglected. I think it needs a extra wire somewhere.... :goofy:
That would be the ground wire, right? :goofy:

Sorry, I'm a newbie. Why would you want to install an oiler for?
To keep the chain lubricated. Hence, extending the chain's life.

Now you can swap out the lower lights for engine vents
Yeah, turning the lower lights into ram air vents has crossed my mind.
Would the ram air vents qualify as a NACA duct? :D

Wow! First of all I am happy to see that you are alive and still standing , but do I see it right that your bike is in two pieces?
-
.....did you notice the SIZE of that LICENSE PLATE?????
Must be a European bike. (Maybe Italian) For some reason they must have a huge licence plate.

How about if YOU toss 10 of em in an envelope and mail em to me...and I'll toss $____(you fill in the blank) in an envelope and mail it to you . Hit me with a PM if you'd want to share all the way over to Wisconsin.
 what about Florida? I would like to have 10 of those too.

How would he put the small ladder in or out from the top box when he is already on the bike?
KKKen you could carry a small ladder in the top box so when getting on and off (the bike) you would have no problems. :lurk: -
Oh, man I can not believe you did this! I was planning to this as well and I wanted to be the first one. :P Oh well, at least I know it is possible to do it and I am not the only one who though it is a good idea. Good job!
