My 03 has 48062 and never skips a beat without the recall but if it does I guess I'll break down and the let the local dealer have at it but so far so good! (except for the icy patch and cold tire thing)

After learning the basics of counter steering to enter the turn what is even more fascinating about this technique is counter steering to exit the corner! Now we're having even more fun! I'm sorry if I got off topic, this started as a safety thread didn't it?

I've been running Honda's HP4 10w40 synthetic blend/withOUT Moly per the owners manual. 36K on the clock and no problems. Yet! :fing02: Now if my new sprocket/chain kit would just get here maybe I could put some miles on the clock!

Mobil one, 4T 15-50 specifically for Triumph motorcycles in my 95 "tigger" with 70K on the clock. Purrrs like a kitten.

HP4 10-40 syn/blend "without" moly for the 03 VFRwith 24K. Honda does offer a full synthetic but not sure if it contains moly which is a no no according to the owners manual. Ah, what do they know?
