  1. ...............................gawd....you're such a girl.

I'm trying my arse off to make it up for Saturday. I can only do Saturday. I sure do wish I could come and spend some quality drinking time with you boys but it's not in the cards for this year..........new chic keeps me hoppin'.

If you make it up, couldja try to remember my shorts? Please?

ps - quit being such a bi, ahem... nice guy, eh?

..............................BI? WHAT? I think she sent those last week? It's all a blur this time of year.

  2. Steve ..... Consider yourself lucky that I lost yer phone number. I don't even think I would give you a " good game" right now. I know that is harsh, but I am hurt.

I say good day to you.

  3. Well, only if you want to I guess...

Being that I'm "lucky enough" to live in a place that prevents me riding my bikes for at least 4 months out of the year ( ), I always start winter off with a To-Do list of mods and maintenance to be completed by the beginning of riding season. I'll show you my list if you show me yours! :goofy:

    So far my plans include:

    1. Work on the 83 VF restoration a little more.

    2. Complete the rebuild of the 81 CB900F SS I bought recently. I actually entered a winter buildoff on another site with the bike, I'm doing a front and rear suspension swap, converting to monoshock, CBR wheels, digital gauges, repainting it, and making a good strong runner out of it. I have until May to finish it.

    3. Finish my secret 4th gen project.

    4. Mods & Maintenance (m&m's ??) on my baby the 05 VFR, including but not limited to...

    a. replace left rad and oil cooler hose( been a bit jammed up for years, have new parts)

    b. install catless header that I've had for 2 years now / remap PC3

    c. send Sargent out for rebuild(getting mushy after 31k miles)

    d. send Ohlins rear shock out for rebuild(doesn't really "need" it yet, but would rather do it now than in June...)

    e. clean lots of stuff while it's apart

    f. Install my Racetech Gold valves install the Racetech-valved 05 R1 front end I just bought.

I'm sure I'll do more on the VTEC, like change oil, clean the air filter, etc, usually just do that stuff as it strikes me while I have other stuff apart.

All that will be done in between side jobs working on other peoples bikes too. Gonna be busy for sure, and that's how I like it! I hate winter with a passion, but at least I don't feel guilty about not riding while wrenching... :lurk:

See this list.......... I am of the opinion that the '83 should be tops before anything else gets done..........hey watcha' gonna' do with that front end? I think you have enough to do already I think you should :fing02:donate that front end to the "Pocono suspesion upgrade" charity and I'll make sure it goes to good use.

  4. Dambit seb!

I'm just waiting to wire up my SP2 ign switch!

It's like you're reading my mind with this build.......but you're getting there first!

Next thing you know, you'll be swapping on SP2 front and rear brakes like my plan!

What are you using for a throttle?

I'm looking at using the SP2 unit as it's a push pull like the VF's...

(this is, of course, all in good fun my friend!)

No....don't feel to bad Sebastain has no life. He's addicted to this board and takes on endless projects for the better of the VFR community. He knapps way to early then wakes up in the middle of the night half scotch induced dreaming and post about things he was just dreaming about. All this to surpass Slammers post count. I'm truely glad he's so driven 'cause it has saved a lot of us endless hours of burning things up and misfitting parts. Thanks for all your hard work bro and when this thing is done I'll gladly assist in the testing and development to make sure it's road worthy......this should take at least the weekend.

So if I know Seb pics should be up around 1:40 am........check back.

  5. I switched back to Mobil 1 using there old 15w50 racing syn, it has the checked flags on the front and think it's the only one that states "Racing Approved" on the container.

The VFR and Track bike are both happily using the 15w-50 and the Diesel is still on the Rotella.

It was quiet for a year.............you must be bored.

I do love the Rotella for my F-350 Diesels.

  6. Man ,I'm telling you this work thing really sucks.......Another thread I almost missed.

Timmy,Dude, For the life of me,did you not know the effect of hanging farkles on your bike that are not flat black? I'm telling you,had you painted it flat black during the install you would have had a buy group signing up for those by now.

I'm just kidding that thing was ugly....like your new dog. :fing02: But we still love ya' man.

  7. The wind ain't so bad..... Can't hear much above the sound of the Two Bros. anyhow. :fing02:

I just put the 'ole eye ball on it ....ran some masking tape....zapped with a cut off saw....then sanded with 1200.

    Took about 30 min.
