  1. I bought some new plastics after my low side from Keith @ Mason City Honda and had a great experience. He beat Service Honda's price (which was the lowest of Ron Ayers and Honda Direct Line) by $90 and I didn't even tell him what they were charging me. I had the parts at my door in less than a week!

  2. Nice vid...quality looks good. I was thinking of picking up a couple to mount on the bike....how does the suction cup and sticky mounts work? Cam stays on with no problems? How is the quality for low light vids?

...nice bike btw, what are you using for a track bike?

I've yet to use the suction mount. When you buy the kit it comes with a few of the flat mounts and a few curved. I just put them on the bike and leave them there and move the camera around. I had the cam mounted on the front fender of the bike, but there was too much vibration up there and the camera ended up pointing @ the ground. Besides that, I haven't had any problems...

I think the GoPro struggles a little bit in low light situations, but what can you expect for how little it costs?

my track bike is an 03 cbr600rr

  3. Iva got a couple... first.. my El-cheapo helmet lock....... 'cause hondas version is a disgrace!!! cost me less than 10 bucks....

I lack your fabrication skills so I just bought some of THESE from Cycle Gear. They even work with the hard bags on. I just leave them under the seat on the hooks so they are there whenever I need them...

Did you do that to have a monoposto look with the hard bags on? I like to take mine all the way off when I don't have the bags, but now that i've got an ABS I have to have them there to attach the preload adjuster. I want to do the same thing though to show off the SSSA!

  5. I've had an F4i kit on my '02 for about a year now. I love it. Not the most attractive addition to my bike, but I can drag knees in the turns with no hands on the bars (J/K).

It's like they say around here. It doesn't exist without pictures!!!! LOL

  6. Well I would beg to differ with my compatriot AussieinUSA, and would dare to state that the VFR is a known hot-running bike. Everyone I know over here who has one, or knows someone who has one, says they boil your eggs in no time...

Ok, i'll give you that but I was comparing to my 51 (SP2), now theres a bike thats really known to run hot and in my case in summer always above 230f, my polarity/blade switch defineately helped. I hear ya though brother, Viffers can get toasty :fing02:

Correction: my highly esteemed compatriot AussieinUSA... :fing02:

well thank you my Spanish speaking compadre' :goofy:

How does spanish sound with an Aussie accent???

  7. Let me preface this by saying that i'm not the most mechanical guy in the world, but...

Would it be possible to just take the OEM fan off and flip it 180 degrees so the fan blades are pointing the other direction rather than having to buy the vtx part? I've read lots of other threads and lots of people think it's counter productive to suck the air in the opposite direction of what is natural. I've been having MAJOR overheating issues and am looking for ideas on anything...
