VFR1200fromDownUnder
I used the guide found here regarding adjusting the flapper in the servo for the vfr1200. So thought i'd post the video showing the difference at idle if anyone is interested. The bike was cold so I didn't rev it past 4000rpm, but you get the drift. Has anyone actually noticed any different power delivery? or increase/decrease in fuel consumption? It's freezing here in Melbourne , Australia so I don't want to take it for a ride today... Guest
Mate i performed the flapper mod today and removed the cable as well. It would be easy to put back if I had too. It certainly sounds better at idle and pulls better across the range I reckon There may be a slice low throttle snatch which I hadn't noticed before but I've only done 1500km in the 2 weeks and most of that was week 1 I'm not expecting higher fuel consumption as most of our legal riding is under 4000rpm https://www.dropbox.com/s/a32c83ymqgm099w/PhotoGrid_1413585067122.jpg?dl=0 Now I just need to find a bolt or plug to screw into the cable hole
