muddyh2o
I'm shipping my 5th Gen to me in Mendoza, Argentina which is desert (and meat and wine). Roads are well below average and often dirt packed or sometimes gravel. There's some mud, but not a lot. And almost never ice (and now I have jinxed myself to have an ice incident!) I'd like to put some shoes on that will do well in the dirt and gravel, but will still hold up on the highways. I started thinking about the Continental Twinduro TKC80s, but those seem a bit too extreme for what I want to do -- though they'll look cool, and that's important, right? Has anyone put the Trail Attack 2 on a VFR or another sport tourer? Thoughts? The diablo supersports on there now are certainly not appropriate. Cycle World has a good article about them on the usual suspect adventure-touring bikes, but I want my VFR to give me an adventure tour! As always, thanks for your great tips and advice.
