  6. Live and learn...... Do not tell your employer you did a lousy job of inspecting (prior to buying)
  7. Bot really. Not in the picture? 2 Indians. You can just about see the handlebars 🙂 And in his workshop are some 5 more Aermacchis, a Moto Guzzi and a Solex! A Solex? I hear you ask....
  8. That last sentence I would suggest now indeed Keny. A serving of whipped cream on a pile of shyte does not make it less off a pile of shyte.... 😁
  9. Welcome to VFRD from across the North Sea. Been to Reading a couple of times in the late 80's early 90's for work.
  10. 'Fraid not.... Raymond? @TheDutchy
  11. You measured Vdc and that is ok. With the voltage regulator disconnected (the bike will start fine w/o it), measure the Vac (wisselstroom) output over each pairing of the 3 yellow wires). There should be no major delta in the readings. I suggest you instal a small voltmeter. The actual reading is not that important, you will soon know what is "normal". If and when the readings are 1- 2 volt "off", you know it is time to head home 🙂
  12. Well, it is mid winter here. Plenty water on its way to the North Sea... 1 Celcius....
  13. Aye, that's the Keny I know..
  14. There will be a motorcycle for you to ride should you ever come to the Netherlands.
  15. Work - Life Balance Euro Trash Style!!! 🙂
  16. "Replaced the stator wiring and connectors and got the output routed to the battery directly (fused)." Did you check/measure the stator's internal reasistance over each pair of yellow wires and Vac output at idle and 5,000RPM (engine hot)?
  17. Between the 2 Gileras, 2 Hondas, Moto Morini and MV Agusta rode some 24,000km in 2023. 40hrs work per week restrict a bit.. But some 42 days paid vacation per year helps... Plan to ride the same kms this year, tripto the Manx GP already decided upon.
  18. Vultures!!! I'll have a VFR400R please
  19. Red. RC36-2 1994-97 I will let you know if he's willing to go through the brexit hoops.... update: no shipping. he prefers a buyer to come see/inspect first to avoid discussion afterwards. and shipping cost/risk too high.
  20. I see a <1950's motorcycle in your future..... I infected my pal last year and now he owns two...
  21. There are/were 2 guys here... Denmark Sweden
