I get those every day.......... :P

  10. Yep, not the same as doing it with carbs, or worse yet, carbs with nice cc volume accelerator pumps.............
  11. Moly is a wet clutch no-no.....some Honda synthetics have it, some don't..............but what do I know...........
  12. Skuuter, I'm not attempting to be a smarta$$ at all. I know that in recent years you have not kept bikes for a very long time and you trade around alot, so I wouldn't think that you would put a staggering number of miles on one bike. Therefore the long term effects of using a certain oil can't be seen. Have you had any other bikes in the past that you have used this iol in and stacked alot of miles on? Again, I'm not calling you out at all. Just wondering. I trade bikes a lot only in recent years(only since 2001)....have owned several bikes with 80,000 to 100,000+ miles on them over the years. I also always own more than one bike, so some stay longer than others as some get traded. A lot of the bikes I own now see 16,000 to 27,000 miles per year of daily riding. Lot of start-ups, shut-downs, twisties, cruising, etc. I had a little 750 Shadow(single/ divorced) that had 112,000 on it in 40 months once(and I owned some other bikes while I kept it).........sorry, I can't give better "qualified" opinions, maybe riders that ride "more often", and rack up "more miles" could give better evaluations on oil "durability"............................
  13. Honda Branded, Synthetic, Motorcycle Specific,10w/40..........works great, stays clean, never an oil related issue in "YEARS/ MANY MILES" of using it in all my Hondas (50cc through 1832cc/ every engine design)...... Exception: Triumph Branded/ Specially Formulated Mobil 1 Synthetic/ Motorcycle Specific, 15w/50 in the Triumph Speed Triple.......
  14. Featured pic looks like.....been on the road just a "little TOO long"..................

  16. ......heh, heh, heh..... ....Hwy 50 out of Lynchburg the back way to Winchester has sections of tar snakes that look more like "tar spaghetti". On really hot summer days it feels like a "dirt bike drift" sometime going through there.......... :goofy:
  17. ......and the BR crash........and you guys keep tellin' me how much fun I could have on track days.....Boy, it sure sounds like a barrel of fun......somehow "fun" and "crash" don't acclimate well with me...........sounds like the camera needs to be mounted to a full rollcage....... I still say roll cage mount.....save both of you and your cameras...............

  19. All you will see with Ken's bracket is your butt... still need to raise the camera up. My seat cowl fits pretty tight, the Sargent seat is a little bigger than the stock seat and firms the fit up quite a bit. I did think of bridging the grab rails, but like the idea of having the quick-release of the seat cowl. Having a cowl pop up for free the very next day sealed the deal for me! I may do another variation on this by spring, for rear view only. I had in mind to make a backrest for my wife from steel tubing that linked into the grab rails, I wanted to incorporate a removable pouch/ bag on it and a mount for a cam at the top... one thing at a time! Backrest/ cam mount sounds like good idea....stiffer and dual purpose........... These pics remind me how much I miss Buddy Brazelton (RIP)...I drove his race car for him some and he was the Boss over the welding/ machine shop at Arnold AFB...fantastic machinist, I could get anything made for my many "motorhobbies", from R/C cars to bikes, to real cars........

  24. See this is "NOT" free time......I'm "WORKING" on trying to get the motorcycle world to see it all from the "RIGHT" perspective........"MINE"............... :P.....and the "CORRECT" figure now is 4,140, and "DUE" to change....
  25. Someone has more "free time" than I do.................
