Disappointing junk? Really? I would call it heavy for sure. To me disappointing junk is thousands of rear drive failures and said manufacturers refusal to step up. Absolutely. I would call a VFR wheel just what I did. Look at the sloppy casting inside the visible spokes. Feel the heaviness, the cheap fragile factory paint. As for BMW, I don't know what this has to do with custom wheels other than BMW makes better and lighter wheels than Honda. As far as driveline failures, I've owned two BMW's rode the sh-t out of them with no failures of any kind. More than I can say for my two Hondas. As far as not backing them up, my dealer, which is a large one, backed up all TWO failures that went into their shop. I would be willing the bet any amount that VFR's alone have more electrical issues that Honda doesn't back up than BMW has of any one kind of problem. 3 cents....over and out on this crap.....

When you make a LIGHTER VFR wheel, you'll have a complete job. VFR wheels are incredibly heavy. Go pick up a BMW cast wheel of the same diameter and width. Stock VFR wheels are disappointing junk, IMO.

I always thought the internet was the bowels of evil. Alabama just made it legal to carry a concealed weapon on the internet.... Why not just use a Honda oil filter? Yep, they cost a little more but Honda just MIGHT know what they're doing now and then.... I use them and, for some reason, my Honda runs just fine. :pissed:

Too bad we just didn't have a 7th gear  a slab only gear, for those runs to and from the twisties, easy way to up the mileage I didn't know people used 6th gear.....

I guess we're all different but I always know what gear I'm in because I can't afford a mistake the way I take corners...

Took the words right out of my mouth. A VFR is an easy bike to tell which gear it's in.

You don't make IED's do you?? Wouldn't put it past Dale....

Beautiful pics. The area looks familiar. Rode from Aspen up to the summit and back down on a bicycle once....just not lately. Pretty much takes care of a day...and the next day....
