Many of us have been caught in such wx, but very few stop for photos ;-P
-
Hi Rich, not sure what caused the stator to fail but you can read more here:
-
Especially since I'm wearing a blue/black Aerostich ;-P
I'll also bet that more than one driver has panicked at the sight of a black-n-white motorcycle behind them.
-
Love the tricolore with those dramatic rain clouds off in the distance. Note to self: rain + gravel roads don't go together ;-P
That kind of rain storm look very familiar - I've ridden through more than a few on my trips through Nevada.
-
Lovely photo - it is the kind that makes want to jump on my VFR and head across the country. Luckily for me I am heading to Colorado next month to see what we can see.
-
I like the look of my white & black '09 but your blue VTec looks better - especially with the CBR ud forks and the clear clutch cover.
-
Would that happen to be on US-191 south of Duchesne? It is indeed a great state for motorcycling.
-
Très froid !
-
Great mods to what is still the best looking VFR.
-
I like the industrial look of the bike, gives it a serious personality. Definitely more Rottweiler then Labrador.
The VF chin fairing is a neat touch.
-
Cool indeed. I particularly like the QR forks, the HRC clutch cover, and the upgraded brakes. Is it a replica?
-
As the (other) Doctor says, it is bigger on the inside ;-P
-
Love the shallow depth of focus. The cross-eyed exhaust pipes are pretty charming ;-)

Another of your beautiful shots, Brian. Plus, that view of the sun helps me push of the winter blues.

Glacier NP's short open season results in lots of traffic so you'll have plenty of time to rubber-neck. But the views are as dramatic as in the Rocky Mountains and you'll want to stop often anyway.
The road on the east side was under construction last September on my way through, a minor inconvenience at most.
I've only ridden westbound so I'm curious if others have a preference.

That is a surprisingly full looking reservoir for California. Looks like a great day for a ride. The bike ain't too shabby either.
-
Great photo of one of my favourite stretches of the Pacific Coast Highway in NorCal.
-
That looks pretty familiar - near Bodega Bay?
-
Just add a Santa hat and it'd make a great Christmas card.
-
Wow, what a great place to ride. Can't imagine doing it by bicycle like the Tour riders, though. It might not be as high but the view sure beats Monarch pass ;-P

Thanks, fabio. I think the white colour hides a lot of the dirt, but look closely at the wheels. That said, I carry a can of Honda Spray Wax, or similar, and dust it at day's end.
The rainbow colour on the windshield is intensified because I had a polarizing filter on my camera. You can see the same effect on lots of clear plastic, like the small rules from your school days.

What a lovely VFR, and the photo does it justice. I was surprised by the location as it looks like it could have been taken in my backyard - clear across the continent from you.
-
Great photo of a fantastic part of California. I took almost the same shot from one curve behind you a few years ago.
Did you ride from Jolon/Lockwood or just up & down the hill from PCH?
-
Looks like a fantastic location - where is it?

I know exactly where that is. Oregon coast - am I right ;-P
