  1. Looks like a great place for a ride. Amazing how much it resembles so much of the terrain in BC, Washington, Oregon, and California where I've toured.

    Genoa Bay VFRD

    From the album: my VFRs

This is near Genoa Bay, BC, about 40 minutes from home. Yes, the rear wheel is very dirty.

  3. Terrific scenery, Dutchy, thanks for the photos. Sad to hear you've sold your SP2, though.
  4. 2006 VFRs were available in all-white - was yours? Did you go with gloss white or is there some pearl in it as well? It looks great as-is so no need for the '06's oe graphics.

Great evening light during the summer solstice, dramatic clues behind, and a shiny red bike in the foreground - what's not to like. Well done

    My current Honda

Oh my, what a lovely scene - the bike ain't half bad either. With luck, and an end to the pandemic restrictions I hope to return to Cali next summer

    November Ride

Like so many places along PCH this is one at which I've never stopped. Added to my 2022 wish list. The road can't be worse than Santa Rosa Creek or the west end of Nacimiento-Fergusson roads - can it?
  11. Great light and a lovely bike, but with a full moon you'd best keep an eye out for werewolves.
  12. Scenes like this remind me of why I love long road trips.

Cool pairing. My 1st VFR was a red '91 VFR750 and my 2nd a red VFR800. I'm partial to gold ('91) or white ('98) wheels, tho
  14. There's only a few race-rep paint schemes that, to my eye, look good. Took me awhile, but I've come round on the Castrol graphics of your SP-2. And I always enjoy reading about your adventures aboard it.
  15. The gold cover looks ace, Rob, and the rest look good too. Pity they can't be on display all the time, but the fairings come in handy I suppose 😉

    Ski season is over...

I love this photo, slo1. The red VFR stands out and the curves leading to the mountains make you want to jump on and GO!

    Convoy

Really evocative shot, Convoy. One small change that'd make it even better, imho, is if your bike was just a little further away from the structures to its right side.

    California Coast

I recognize that spot - along a beach in Redwood NP, just north of Klamath. Surprisingly, I enjoyed nicer wx when I stopped there only a couple weeks after dadofseven.

Love photos like this that show places I'd really like to ride. The swoop road reminds me of a spot on Montana's Hwy 78, looking south towards Red Bluff.
  20. Those two bikes make quite a pair. Back in 1993 I bought my first VFR, a '91 red w/gold wheels and grey seat. And soon after my pal Doug bought a red 907ie just like the one in your photo. An awful lot of water under the bridge since then.
  21. Not too shabby for a 30 year old bike 😉 Love the Euro graphics, too

Fall colours and a red VFR, with left exit exhaust no less, makes for a great photo.

    Colorado River

Last time I was on this road it was ~4:00 in the morning. There were about a bazillion stars in the sky but I was too cold to stop and enjoy 'em. I'd spent a chilly night on the side of the road a few miles east after finding there was nary a room to be had in Blanding. Fortunately, dawn had come as I neared Hanksville - time for coffee.

A very pleasant 1st of November made for a great photo opportunity at Victoria's Inner Harbour
