Cool pairing. My 1st VFR was a red '91 VFR750 and my 2nd a red VFR800. I'm partial to gold ('91) or white ('98) wheels, tho

I love this photo, slo1. The red VFR stands out and the curves leading to the mountains make you want to jump on and GO!

Really evocative shot, Convoy. One small change that'd make it even better, imho, is if your bike was just a little further away from the structures to its right side.

That is a very pretty motorbike

Love photos like this that show places I'd really like to ride.
The swoop road reminds me of a spot on Montana's Hwy 78, looking south towards Red Bluff.

Those two bikes make quite a pair. Back in 1993 I bought my first VFR, a '91 red w/gold wheels and grey seat. And soon after my pal Doug bought a red 907ie just like the one in your photo. An awful lot of water under the bridge since then.

Not too shabby for a 30 year old bike 😉
Love the Euro graphics, too

Fall colours and a red VFR, with left exit exhaust no less, makes for a great photo.

Last time I was on this road it was ~4:00 in the morning. There were about a bazillion stars in the sky but I was too cold to stop and enjoy 'em. I'd spent a chilly night on the side of the road a few miles east after finding there was nary a room to be had in Blanding. Fortunately, dawn had come as I neared Hanksville - time for coffee.

I'm seldom out near dawn or dusk so I admire your work ethic. Lovely shot that stands apart from the majority.

What a lovely shot, great lighting and colour. The bike isn't too shabby, either 😉

Aha, I guessed correctly that it was Independence Pass. One of many fantastic places Colorado has to offer. I'll have to get back there some day.

Looks like a great place for a bike ride. Of course, 2011 was a much simpler age.

Photos like this remind me how much I miss my red '98 800. Thanks, for sharing.

Great photo, Slo1. Love how you framed it to show that small glimpse of road to come.

Lovely afternoon shot on the California coast. I always seem to ride it in the morning under a low overcast.

that is a YUUUGE tank bag!
My SLR and camcorder weighed it down a bit 😉 but as I recall I stuffed my electric vest in the upper compartment so it wasn't too heavy.

Going to the Sun is a great ride. My last trip there was in the summer of 2014. Sadly, heavy traffic and a massive amount of roadwork that day. Didn't spoil the fantastic scenery, though.

Love the colour and the mood it sets in this photo. Well done

Looks like just north of Jenner on 1, with Goat Rock, Arch Rock, and the Russian River mouth behind that great bike.
Yep, and it is a lovely stretch of NorCal's coast.

Lovely photo. The scene reminds me of quite a few places in Oregon and NorCal. C'mon springtime.

I recognize that spot, it's one of my favourite parts of PCH. Starting southbound from Garberville or northbound form Fort Bragg makes for a great morning's ride.

Scenes like this remind me of why I love long road trips.
