About 600 miles away, Northern Utah 😉
Not if you navigate like me, ha ha. Your photo actually reminded me of UT12 just south of Torrey.

What a lovely scene. It reminds me of places I've ridden in Oregon and NorCal, but I suspect it might be someplace a thousand miles away.

dunno the location, but it sure reminds me of Utah 12 between Torrey and Boulder City. Or perhaps on Colorado 65 - Grand Mesa Scenic Byway. Lovely spot, wherever it may be.

My, my, that brings back old memories. When the Mach III and the CB750 were first out, younger guys lusted after the light, fast, and scarier Kawasaki while middle-aged codgers went for the steady-Eddie Honda. Early reports of the 2-smokes suspect handling only made it more appealing.

Red sky at night, sailors delight. How was your weekend at the races?
-
Likewise for me, been on a few roads in Nevada that are straight as an arrow for tens of miles.

Ooh, California 58 is one of my favourites - though somehow I'm always riding it westward. After a stop at McKittrick Market for a cool drink, of course.

What color are those wheels? "Can we get a side shot!?"
You bet I can. This pics is from 2002, I think, when it had probably done ~50K miles. shortly before I traded it for my 2nd VTR1000F.
Eagle eyed will notice the thinner footpegs and the later mirrors from the '00/'01 VFR800, an 8-spoke from a '91 VFR750, and the Yosh slip-on, too.

I love your photo, nice alignment of the VFR, road, and setting sun. At least I hope it's a setting sun 'cause I hate gettin' up early.

Sorry I missed your comment at the time, MaxSwell. But to answer your Q, the pic was taken about 6pm back in late July 1995. As I recall traffic in the Glacier NP was light that day, and I waited for the cars to clear before snapping.

I don't recognize the location but I've been on more than a few roads quite like this over the years.
Great shot, thanks for sharing.

Terrific shot, slo1, a magical time of day showcasing a lovely 5th gen

I know exactly where that spot is, St S, because Sonora Pass is one of my favourite roads in California. Though I always seem to cross it westbound.

Heading down from Sherman Pass to Hwy 395, homeward bound form my trip toe the 2004 WSB at Laguna Seca. Looks like Mars.
-
Great shot, slo1. You're definitely pointed in the right direction 'cause those clouds look quite unfriendly.

Sweet.
Glad you like it, Cogs, I was pleased that it came out so well, myself.

very cool to see your VFR with a night cityscape as background

Looks like a great place for a ride. Amazing how much it resembles so much of the terrain in BC, Washington, Oregon, and California where I've toured.
-
2006 VFRs were available in all-white - was yours? Did you go with gloss white or is there some pearl in it as well?
It looks great as-is so no need for the '06's oe graphics.

Lovely photo with great colour. The bike ain't half bad either.

Great evening light during the summer solstice, dramatic clues behind, and a shiny red bike in the foreground - what's not to like. Well done
-
Oh my, what a lovely scene - the bike ain't half bad either.
With luck, and an end to the pandemic restrictions I hope to return to Cali next summer

Like so many places along PCH this is one at which I've never stopped. Added to my 2022 wish list.
The road can't be worse than Santa Rosa Creek or the west end of Nacimiento-Fergusson roads - can it?
-
Great light and a lovely bike, but with a full moon you'd best keep an eye out for werewolves.

I still miss my yellow '99 VFR800. Every once in a while when one shows up for sale my wallet gets nervous.
