What tires were you running?
-
Nice shot and good looking form! :491:
Can't believe your not dragging the center stand!
:491: , but why on earth is there a centerstand on that bike??? Trying to keep the center of gravity low? :491:

Cool pic, but get that head down on the inside of the curve and try to kiss your mirror. You'll lose 20 degrees of lean angle but gain 20% in confidence!
-
Until the Aprilia V4 bows, still the best...
-
You did the frame, but not the swingarm?? Any reason why??
The white and blue looks good.
That would be too much blue
-
Wow, that would be cool if I could do that blue on my red VFR. Did you strip it down and have those parts anodized??

Powder-coated.

Best looking 6th gen I've seen.

Just looked at all of his pics on the linked site. I love the lower fairing extension. It makes the tailsection seem shorter. The blacked-out frame, swingarm, and three points on the front cowl all work beautifully and add a hint of menace to the wide-eyed, friendly face that's always kind of bugged me on the 5th gen. Even the gold chain with no guard is perfect, but I wouldn't suggest riding with bell-bottoms...
The tangelo paint is of course big pimpin', as red is the anger-management-issue cousin of the beautiful orange family :salesman: .

I'm seriously considering buying an extra front fairing and playing with a similar look on my '98 (I'll keep the OEM in storage), but I'm wondering how well lights like these work and where to buy?
-
Very sexy! This is one of the nicest 4th gens ever.
-
I like the handles on with the seat cowl, Keith. Did you have the rear set up like this when I rode with you? If so, how did I miss it?! I like the way it breaks up the lines of the tail. From behind, the 5th gen (including mine, even with an underseat exhaust) is a bit bland. I think this adds some necessary visual detail with the seat cowl on. Might have to consider a little surgery on mine.

Naw, he stole it from an Imperial Guard...
Cool pic!

Wow, just looked through the whole gallery. Very cool!!
-
Ohhhh... , I thought it was on there in the photo. I guess I should have looked more closely. Big L on my forehead :P
-
Zonker, that Staintune looks oddly familiar... :joystick: The bike looks great. Love the view too!

Here's the thread: http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/index.p...pic=17136&st=60
Hope to see you there.

Bad Boy, St. Helens and environs is my back yard. Surprised we haven't met on VFRD before. Will you be joining us for the PNW Meet and Greet in Newport in August?
-
Beautiful bike! It's hard to believe it's more than a year or two old.
-
Wow, is the VFR really that big? The other bikes look like toys!
-
Nice work! She's a beauty. Red's the fastest color!
-
EEEEK! Make it go away! It's my worst nightmare! The Po-Po should never be allowed to use VFR's. It's just not right...

Finally someone posts up a cornering pic with proper body position! I was starting to think we were running a clinic on how not to do it :fing02:
