  2. Hepco & Becker sell quick release sidecase racks for the Gen 8. Well made and strong. I can recommend them. https://www.hepco-becker.de/en/sidecarrier-lock-it-black-for-honda-vfr-800-f.html
  3. Taken last year at Ucluelet Harbour, Vancouver Island.
  4. There can be an issue with the Atlas on Gen 8s. There has to be a minimum gap (2.5mm?) between the switch housing and the throttle grip. I discovered this when trying to install one. When I contacted the Atlas company they stated that it is a known issue. Some, but not all, Gen 8s do not have enough of a gap. Too bad in my case as it looked well made as it should do for the price.
  5. I've been planning a cross-Canada trip. I wanted to simplify chain maintenance while touring. So today I installed a Scottoiler xSystem. Will be testing how it works in the next few days. I've read many opinions, pro and con, and now I'll get to come up with my own opinion. I'll try to remember to post the results after I've put on some significant kms. Reservoir-still lots of room for tools, etc. Oil line on top of swingarm Dispenser under lower chain guard Behind the chain guard
  6. About the same time I had a set of Krauser bags on my Suzuki GS1100G. I see that H&B still has some stock of classic Krauser bags and parts.
  7. I gave up looking for OEM luggage so I installed Hepco & Becker quick release side racks and cases. The quality seems very good.
