So, I guess my question is... Do you have this covered?

I put in an order for the Grip Puppies and a Cramp Buster (same product by a different name). I'll give them a try. I have the Heli bars on mine, but I still seem to have too much weight on my wrists. I have considered police handlebars. I'd like to get a lowering kit for the pegs too. But at what point should I just go get a cruiser? Do the police bars interfere with the fairing?

I got tired of messing with Aliexpress. That website absolutely sucks. I bought the Oxford Premium Touring heated grips off Amazon. The price seemed way better than anything else I saw. I don't know where I'm going to put the controller, but I'll try to hide it somewhere.

Those look like nice gloves, but holy cow, $250?! But maybe I should scrap all the other stuff and start with a good pair of gloves.

A friend told me about these awhile back. I'm looking for more input. I get hand cramps when I ride. Usually takes less than an hour. At this point, I'm leaning toward the heating pads. The price is right, the switch is small and can be located anywhere, the leads are flexible and can be routed anywhere, and I can use any grips I want. And I don't think I'm going to need more than two settings. But... I don't want grips that move around. They need to be secure. And if I use these pads under the grips, there are a few layers that need to stick to each other without slipping --> the insulation over the bar, the heating pad over the insulation, the grip over the heating pad. Maybe double-sided tape? Also, am i going to be able to get grips over all this?

I hadn't even thought of that. And that's a good point.

We really don't get many days like that here. If it's below freezing, I'm probably not gonna be riding. Too much chance of ice here.

Oh. Seems like the Oxfords are going to require time to figure out the difference in the models.

Well, these look like the nicest ones yet...and the most expensive. I like the location and size of the controller. Where did you find the switched power to hook them up?

Thanks for pointing that out! In the video, they showed a three position switch being installed, so I thought it was a two-speed.

Funny, I like the colorful controller better. My hands get numb after riding for a while. Anything that might help that is what I'm after. I think the touring grips are the cushiest, and therefor the most likely to help. It seems most the work I do on anything takes longer than expected. Sometimes much longer.

Yeah, the grips look good. The controller, not so much. Actually, I was looking at these Oxford grips: nhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N12ZYR9/ref=sw_img_1?smid=A2Q63DCTCV9545&th=1 I was kinda just waiting to see if there were some VFR specific ones, and for someone to confirm that the Oxfords were good. But now with the discussion about heating pads, I'm back on the fence. For one thing, the pads just have a lead that can route pretty much anywhere, where the Oxfords have a directional lead that has to have enough room to fit. I've shaved down the stops on my triple tree and frame so I can turn the wheel sharper. I'm not sure the Oxfords won't hit the tank at full lock. Also, which Oxfords would I buy? I was leaning toward the premium touring grips, but do I want the touring grips? Are the Evos better? So many options...

Wow. I'm surprised they've held up well enough to move from bike to bike. But I'm going to count this as another mark in favor of heating pads.

Sounds like I'd have to get a heated jacket liner first, then get the heated glove liners. This is probably the way to go for extreme cold riding. I'm thinking heated grips first, then onto other measures if I need more. I live in NW Washington. We get a lot of rain. Where are you located?

I've never used 'em, but I think it's time I got some heated grips for my 5th gen. I was wondering if there were some made specifically for the VFR... Anyone? Or if anyone has any input on the subject...?

I think that would be great. I would be willing to buy one and put it on my headers. I was going to look into what it would take to get these made, but if you think you have this covered, it's all you.

Oh, man... This is a gut punch, and I never met him. Condolences to all who knew him, and to his family. RIP Lance Was he riding his motorcycle when this accident happened? Is it possible (and appropriate) that we get some plaques made in his honor/memory that would fit on the WyLD headers? Maybe saying something like "WyLD header made possible by Lance Chubbic aka sfdownhill," or maybe just "In memory of sfdownhill."
