  1. Welcome from Connecticut! Nice collection, I remember all the old Suzukis, cool bikes!
  2. Thanks Captain, I did not ask the question but this is on my list since I have to do some maintenance on my 97. Great idea.
  3. Wow, that is a serious dog offense. I thought it was bad when my wife fell on her face (she had a black and blue face for 2 weeks) when her dog ran after another dog. I bet you are burning to ride the new bike! I wish you speedy recovery!
  4. It looks like it just came out of a time capsule! Sweet! What is the deal with your hand?
  5. I have been on the forum only for 2 years, it is very valuable and I am blown away about the knowledge of the members. It is my daily read. It will be a sad day when it ends! Thank you very much Miguel for all your work you put into this. I will you all the Best!
  6. I hate to admit it, but I may go for a set later in the season. Thanks for the report.
  7. The tire shows how much fun you had! LOL!
  8. Interesting choice! I only know Kenda as a bicycle tire manufacturer. Currently, I am running on Shinko Verge 011. Price was around $200 for the set. While the traction and tip in are good, I only get 3000 miles on front and rear. Same was for Conti motion tires which grip a little better, warm up quicker and are less sensitive to tar snakes (it seems that tar snakes becoming an art here lately) but always had a little shimmy effect on the front end, no matter how good these were balanced. Please report on the wear and how many miles you get out of these tires. From the picture, it looks li,e these grip well at lean angle. Thanks.
  9. Same here! Keep posting please. Right now, I am just riding, the maintenance work wil kick in soon.

    Wow! Very impressive!
  11. Respect Captain 80s! This is what makes an expert!
  12. Nice! Can you post a picture what it looks like from the side? What the lifting points are?
  13. Thank you Dutchy, great article. Now, I want one (but first have to score a big sport v-twin)
  14. Thank you Keny, I am familiar with Morini road bikes but never saw a dualsport Morini.
  15. I think, it all depends how you treat your clutch. My vfr has 36k miles and it still feels like no wear. I had several bikes with close to 40k miles and never had clutch wear issues (mostly backroads with a lot of shifting) I hope, I did not jinx my clutch with this statement!
  16. Nothing! Looked under the cover in the garage where the red beauty is still asleep and then played a short video clip of my VFR running which I recorded in December to remind me of the great noises it makes.
  17. I thought it was 6th of December?! This is when the St Nicolaus day is in Germany.
  18. Hi Wald, Thank you for your donation of 50.00 USD. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
