About Me

Mech. eng by education, computers for career.  Cars, bikes, driving and riding, photography, and car stereos for fun.  Enjoy fettling the bikes and have had to climb quite a learning curve 2019 onwards getting my VFR back on the road after storing poorly.  Still lots to learn.  I've done a fair amount of electrical accessory work on both bikes which I try to do to a high standard.  On the Triumph have hard-wired satnav, driving/running lights (through a Skene designs controller - different brightnesses and linked to high beam), handguard mounted DRLs and indicators, power sockets and top box power on the all through a Fuzeblock.

Recently rewired accessories on my VFR (originally done 10+ years ago).  Heated grips, 12V Hella socket, voltmeter, daytime running lights (Bikeviz Bullets) with modulator (Podmod) and a hardwired USB power supply.  All except the voltmeter through an ignition switched fuse box.  VFR is stock bar these and minor bits like hugger, and front fender extender.  Future plans include suspension refresh, paintwork on forks and respray of the front fender (repaired cracks some years back but have not finished surface refinishing)
