I recognize a couple, but someone needs to caption the photo for the rest. VFRD members?

Great shot! :fing02:
But, what year and track?
Elkhart Lake, 1989
Yep. Back when Honda knew how to win. Bubba's 86 bike beat newer machinery on many occasion. IIRC, even privateer John Ashmead won a race or two on an 86 bike against the newer machines.

You think they'd notice if I took it out for a spin? ;)

That's an odd way to try to smell the flowers. :P

Exactly WHERE are we in this great picture ? I'm in southern middle Tn.....might have to visit it if it's in west Tn somewhere. Fess' up tbzep....no selfish hiding of this road............ :goofy:
That was last fall in Natchez Trace State Park, (not the Parkway). The road goes from the little store in the park down to Darden. It will be loaded with crazed deer hunters before long. They run their trucks a bizillion miles per hour trying to get two and from their deer stands during hunting season. The rest of the year it's a great place to ride. :)
THANKS...found it on the map. Wife and I were close to there last fall on a motorcycle trip. Will have to visit....owe you    one !!!
Shoot me a PM whenever you decide to visit the area. I'll try to get out and meet you for lunch or a guided tour or something. :)

Nice shot of one of our Canadian roads Zep! you weren't supposed to share it though!!! :goofy:
I didn't realize I was that close to the Canadian border. That road is about 20 miles from my house. :)

That's an FZ-6 the FZ-1 is different looking on the front
That's what I thought, but I've never seen an FZ-1 in person and didn't know enough about them to make the call. That's why I added my second comment after stating FZ-6 in the first one. (covering my tracks) :)
I went riding with a guy the other day that has one. It looks like a nice bike and had a comfortable seating position. I just sat on it, so I have no idea how it handles. It's obviously slow cause it's silver. :goofy:

Might even be an FZ-1. I can't tell with the bags on. FZ-1 has the big ugly side pipe. FZ-6 has a nice looking undertail dual exhaust.

What is that Yamaha??

I got my bags from David Silver Spares this Wednesday. I'm finally back from my workshop so I'll be installing them this weekend. It's good to know that I won't have any clearance problems with them!
