masculinity intact-bike nelly-still mucho fun to ride-no one sees their bike when riding it-only when off it-and then it's all about pulling off the look.
stay strong man.

I saw 155 mph the other day at around 10,000 rpm and still accellerating-pretty sure my bike won't go quite that fast.
-
Yes Bent, I thought I remembered that from back when I bought it but couldn't remember (along with most other things I learned back 19 years ago...).

What a long and incredibly successful build. Your bike looks beautiful and unique-sounds great as well. I admire guys like you who have the determination, patience, and courage to take on such a task-and the talent. Congrats on a truly unique and beautiful creation.

a beauty for sure-looks just like my '98, only fresher and newer. Enjoy!

good advice-I've never gotten 41 mpg, even before the PC II, the K&N air filter, and the pipe. And I have the original gearing. Wonder why I get such bad gas mileage....thoughts?

I have stock gearing. Thanks for the responses. Just want my argument ready when the cop pulls me over.......

Does anyone know how much speedo error exists in the 5th gen VFR? I've always been told it's fairly inaccurate w/ significnt error.

I also thoroughly enjoyed watching your riding video-I was amazed how you would lose ground on the long straight then reel the faster bikes back in on the brakes and several of your passes were very impressive. It was nice to see a VFR looking racy. How fast were you managing on that long straight?

Damn... just spent almost $300 on a GoPro. The quality is better but not that much and its only battery operated with no ability to change batteries. And it only "looks" one way. Bummer.

Wow! That's some filthy water man-amazing how much crud came out. Thanks much for the info-mine needs the same treatment.

I had to change one out on my'98 and noticed I needed tiny hands-there ain't no room in there! Took forever.

One reply stated "a true 140 mph". Just how much error exists in the 5th gen speedo?

What's that sticking out behind the font wheel? Looks like an alien head.

I think I got maybe 20,000 miles but it was getting rusty and developed a corroded link. Also by that time the bike was around 13 years old so it was time.

My asshole puckered just watching that-u guys have some narrow roads!

Don't we all have better things to do? Like go out and ride?

Saw this flat black CBR 1000 RR at my local dealer - nice looking but damned pricey.

Does Honda still sell fairings for the 5th gen?
