I love my 14" Delkevic - makes the V4 sound glorious! Not too loud, especially when compared to the Arrow slip-ons installed on my Ducati S4R. I would not go shorter than the 14" version

Seems that most tire manufacturers make a series of cheap tires to compete to win the bid to be an OEM supplier - it's a great contract to get. But I don't think they're usually a good representation of the manufacturer's better tires. I was a Bridgestone guy for years and used them on my track bikes, but the Bidgestones that came as OEMs on my 2014 VFR were terrible - single compound front and dual compound rear. The front squared off after 3500 miles. I replaced them with Dunlop Roadsmart IIIs (dual compound front and rear) and couldn't be happier. Just did 260 miles today on West Virginia twisties - amazing grip.
I have Dunlop Q3+ on my Ducati Monster S4R and also an outstanding tire - even for an occasional track day.

Is that the air intake I spy above the rad with that plastic scoop ? 
 

Installed a radiator guard on my '14 - was able to do it without removing the fairings (barely).

Not exactly today, but two weekends ago did a nice 3 day tour in the Catskill Mountains. Two 2014 VFRs and a Panigale 959.

Installed a steering damper. Got off eBay $90. Brand is "Savage", made in China. Putting all biases aside, I'm impressed with the quality. Will follow up after a few hundred miles with a review.
