Yep, Depoe Bay track, about 10 minutes from the house, 5 by VFR.
Can anyone name all the racers? Five are from VFRD.
First one gets a free hour on the track.

That's lovely.
-
Nice - where are we?
-
Is this somewhere near the John Day Fossil Beds? I was riding up there this weekend. Possibly the best roads this side of Mecca, but don't tell anyone.
For sure, nice shot. I love riding in that area.
-
Nice shot - my two brothers and I took a ride up there just two weekends ago. That looks like Paradise Valley in the background?
-
Somebody's pretty happy with themselves!
-
Nice pics, love the GG, where's this?
I think we were somewhere north of Bodega Bay. Not sure exactly, but right in that area.
-
Always a pleasure to ride in the gorge or see pictures of it. That is a great shot. I hope to get down there this summer before the next SoundRider rally.
That's an awesome shot! Where was it taken?
That's the Columbia River gorge, on the Oregon side east of Portland. Super nice rides all over on both sides, and the gorge is a spectacular place - great photo!
-
But where where all the riders? It was so dang hot the we were over under the shade waiting for the ferry, pouring water over ourselves.
That was a fun day!! :goofy:
(hey, that's my '00 on the right!)
Yup, Keithbob, your yellow beast. And to think that I almost got one too (phoned two hours too late, it was sold) before I found a red one. Mine's at the very back, well hidden.
Cheers,
PPM
Maybe next time you'll be fast enough to get a yellow one.

Ah yes, I remember it well. My first VFRD meet. Giddy in my helmet when I pulled up to that site. Oh yes, the ladder.
I think we had 28 stuffed in the driveway & garage. Of course there is the signature tire patch inside. Too bad I missed the oyster BB-Q out back.
By the end of the evening we had 33 bikes parked in and around my driveway. I must say, my house has never looked better, and I felt like a rich man that day!

I don't normally go for airbrushed stuff, but that's pretty cool.
-
Everyone except for me, where is this road located exactly? Would love to get to know it alittle :fing02: Nice shot!!
Hey, he's stealing my avatar!!
Greg, I'd be oh-so-happy to take you there. It runs across Idaho, Lolo Pass. I'll show you on the map.
-
I loved this road so much I made the sign my avatar. Nice picture, along with others in your gallery!
-
I really like this photo!
-
Nice photo, Alan - where's the yellow ones?
And that was only about a quarter of the bikes! Fun day.
-
I know this road? Hwy 140?
Hey, that's my backyard! I'm pretty sure that's on Hwy 19 rolling north along the John Day River.
-
That was a fun day!
-
Man, this seems like a long time ago - but just last June! Lotta riding in since then.
I think George was trying to get us to swallow an excuse for something.
-
Great photo, thanks for sharing it. And also very cool to give us a map to the place! I could zoom out a notch or two at a time to see just where you were.
-
Nice pic! So if I got out a map of Australia, where would I find the Bonang Highway?
-
Damn, I wish I had kept the bike now! BTW, this is from the Duffey Lake Rd north of Whistler this spring.
Nice shot of the VFR! Now tell us again, why did you sell it??

Nothing beats a yellow '00, we all know that. ;)

That is one good looking bike, and one great set of roads. Hope you were able to get out for a ride after all today, Paul.
